Mr. Roger Smith

Roger trained as an auctioneer and valuer in Derby, working at both the old and new Derby Cattle Markets before joining Farmers Marts in mid-Wales as senior auctioneer and valuer. He returned to the area to take charge of Mansfield Cattle Market and to run the Mansfield and Warsop offices of W T Parker as well as establishing Mansfield Auction Galleries. Having then spent 12 years in Chesterfield he now brings to Bagshaws wide experience of pipeline and utility compensation work, property valuation, sales and tenancy matters.

Roger is a past president of the Yorkshire Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Association of Agricultural Valuers, an examiner for both Northern and Midland Counties groups of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, and a Director of Ashover Show.
