Stuart has a great enthusiasm for the countryside and rural affairs which arose from the time he spent working on his Aunt and Uncles farm in Shropshire. This inspired him to attend the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester where he obtained a BSc (Hons) Degree in Rural Land Management.

Before joining Bagshaws in October 2009 Stuart worked for a year in the Land Management Department of a national firm in Chester where he gained invaluable experience in all aspects of estate management.

Stuart, who qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2010, is a probationer member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and works as assistant to Nick Hansen in the Ashbourne office covering all aspects of property sales, valuation, agricultural tenancy and general professional work.
