The story of the show here was definitely a smart 5-year-old pure bred Limousin Bull from the Belfields at Upper Hulme which after spirited bidding topped the day at £2200 to go to East Leake with Andrew Armett. The Mycock Family at Dukes Drive had pedigree Limousin Bulls (13 mnths) to £1420 with the Taylors at Summerley with a pedigree Simmental Bull (26 mnths) at £1690.

No special Cow & Calf outfits but the pedigree Limousin Heifers from the Mycocks at Dukes Drive attracted keen interest to a top of £1280 and £1270 and their whole entry averaging £1149 at 11-12 mnths, a very stylish entry indeed.

Best Cow & Calf outfits topped at £1055 for a 4-year-old Saler Cow with Bull Calf (3 mnths) for Robert Bentley.
