332 STORE & BREEDING CATTLE - (Auctioneer Alastair Sneddon)

Not quite as many as last week, but still a respectable turnout of 332. A very mixed sample comprising something for everyone from Dexters at the low entrance to the best Continental crosses. One comment received from buyers is the prevalence of horns, most buyers would prefer to buy cattle that have been dehorned and some will not bid for them if they are horned. Whilst it is another job to be done, if you want the maximum number of bidders for your cattle they need to be dehorned – something to bear in mind.
