974 Sheep including 824 Finished Lambs and 120 Cull Ewes & Rams
A slight reduction in numbers, possibly as a result of reduced averages seen at most centres the previous day but with a pleasing level of demand for the entry forwards.
Very much a 2 tier trade with the stronger well finished lambs regularly over 180p/kg, to a top of 203p/kg. The lighter weights and under finished lambs however, struggling to get much over 160p/kg and would benefit from some further feeding.

A similar trade to that seen of late, best Continental Ewes to £86 and an overall average of just over £40 with a number of plainer sorts and horned Ewes within the average.
