1009 Sheep including 790 Finished Lambs and 208 Cull Sheep
790 Lambs ave 157.72p/kg
Another decent entry forwards but with trade continuing to lack much sparkle, a result of larger numbers being marketed nationally. Better finished sorts generally upwards of 170p to top of 188p/kg and £92 per head, but a number of lambs lacking finish having an adverse effect on the overall average.

205 Cull Sheep ave £45/head
A larger proportion of plain hill ewes within the entry and as such the average would not be reflective of the trade. All sorts were keenly bid for, and the best Continental ewes saw a pen full at £96.
