About Leek market

Leek Auctions Ltd is a thriving partnership between Bagshaws LLP, Graham Watkins & Co and Bruce Daniel as Company Secretary.

Since the amalgamation, the market has gone from strength to strength seeing dramatic increases in numbers of both dairies, calves and sheep. A large monthly store cattle sale has also been established.

Dairy numbers on a weekly basis are between 30-50 whilst the newly established monthly Pedigree sales have attracted a great deal of interest both from vendors and purchasers. These Pedigree sales take place every third Tuesday in the month with entries closing for cataloguing 10 days prior.

Dairy dispersal sales are also undertaken, with good facilities and a multitude of active purchasers.

During the Autumn and Winter months, regular store sheep sales are also conducted and fortnightly Poultry and Sundry Sales also take place throughout the year.

The mission for Leek Auctions Ltd has been to make Leek a market of regional importance particularly in relation to dairy cattle. Great site improvements have been undertaken to increase penning and loading facilities, as well as increasing the size of the café and refreshments area for visitors comfort. Both vendors and purchasers of all classes of livestock should feel confident visiting Leek market. Every effort will be made to satisfy customers’ needs at this friendly venue.
