It was a good start to the 2016 auction calendar with a busy sale room. Predominantly land focused, there were five parcels of land available on the day, (with one lot of land and a development opportunity in Ashbourne sold prior to auction), in various key areas within Derbyshire.
The lots included 6.64 acres of land off Windy Bank, Bradfield which sold for £60,000 (£9,036/ acre), 2.86 acres adjoining Gorsty Low Farm, Chapel en le Frith which sold for £40,000 (£13,986 per acre), 4.27 acres of land at Idridgehay which sold for £42,000 and our largest lot on the day of 22.93 acres of land at Eyam, Hope Valley which sold for £120,000.
The remaining unsold on the day was 13.58 acres of land off Barrowstones Lane, Monyash which is still available to view.
The next Bakewell auction will take place on Monday 16th May at 3.00pm. If you think your property might be suitable for auction, or if you would like some free, confidential advice about the buying process, please contact Ed Lawley or Aaron Cousins on 01629 812777.
