Location

The amenity land is situated on the border of the Peak District National Park, in a rural location in between the popular towns of Buxton and Bakewell. The land has far reaching views across the valley.

Directions

From Buxton, head south along the A6 Bakewell Road. Following the road out of the town for approx. 3.5 miles and then turn left into a car park called Wyedale Car Park. Once parked, continue on foot, along the single width track following the river Wye towards Blackwell Mill Cottages. Following the track to the park area near to the cottages and then follow the footpath across the bridge to the front of the cottages. Directly in front of the cottages there is a footpath that runs back along the other side of the river. Follow this past the pump house on the right and through the tunnel under the railway. Very shortly after, there is a gap in the fence on the left hand side where you can access the lower part of the land. The higher part can be accessed by continuing up the path after the tunnel.
