Sales Report HereThe March edition of the HPLS suckled calves sales happened on Friday and once again records were broken with cattle dearer on the year even though things were at unreal levels 12 months ago.
Confidence amongst the buyers is still at an all time high even with the present trade for the finished product on shaky ground.
The overall quality was possibly the best ever seen at these sales with run after run of well bred and well presented calves running through the ring and the buyers certainly pushed out all the stops to try and secure a load.
The sale progressed quickly as the trade allowed with the cattle arriving at the ring in good sized even bunches with just a few sold individually for the specimen hunters.
