Vacancy for a RICS qualified Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor and Valuer.

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for a qualified rural surveyor to join our dynamic team. Due to our continuing expansion, we are looking for surveyors at all of our offices – Ashbourne, Bakewell, Uttoxeter and Penkridge.

About you:
- Whether recently qualified or have many years of experience, we would be pleased to hear from you.
- You will be friendly, outgoing and a good communicator. Whilst being a member of a team, you will be used to working as an independent fee earner, have excellent attention to detail and an up to date working knowledge of RICS regulations and guidelines.
- Ideally you will have experience in advising upon, and the management and valuation of rural property, agricultural tenancy matters, compensation work and promotion/option agreements. An interest in Natural Capital would be helpful. However, interest from those with a more limited scope of experience will be welcome.
- You will be RICS qualified. VRS registration and CAAV membership would also be of benefit, together with a good working knowledge of commonly used software. A full driving licence and access to a car.

Vacancy for a full time Secretary/Receptionist at Uttoxeter office
We are looking to recruit a secretary at our Uttoxeter office. This post is a full time role 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with an unpaid hour for lunch. This is initially a maternity cover but may convert to a permanent role.
You will be a member of the administration team based at our Derby Road Office in Uttoxeter. The role will involve providing secretarial cover (with the ability to audio type), preparing documents relating to our professional work, dispersal sales and estate agency business, providing reception cover, filing, assisting with company marketing, preparing invoices and all other aspects of administration that helps to keep our busy office running.
You will be friendly, outgoing, a good communicator and used to working independently in a busy office environment. You will be able to multi-task and prioritise your workload effectively whilst producing work to a high standard. You will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be educated to GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Whilst the candidate may come from rural background, this is desirable but not essential.

Vacancy for a part-time Dairy Secretary/Receptionist at Uttoxeter office

The role:
- We are looking to recruit a dairy secretary at our Uttoxeter office. This post is a part time role where some flexibility to work additional hours is an advantage.
- You will be a member of the administration team based at Uttoxeter and will work primarily within the Dairy Sales team. The role will involve providing administration support to Meg Elliott who runs the team. You will be speaking to vendors prior to each sale, helping to prepare and type catalogues, creating mailing lists to send out information to potential purchasers and assist with social media surrounding the sales. You will also help on our busy reception desk taking calls into the office.
- You will be friendly, outgoing and a good communicator with excellent attention to detail. Good IT skills will be necessary along with an understanding of social media platforms. Ideally you will be from a farming background with a good understanding of Dairy Cows. You will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be educated to GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
