Machinery Dispersal Report-Edge Hill Farm, Mossley Saturday 16th May

England, Scotland and Ireland”-Mark Elliott

The dispersal sale on behalf of Mr & Mrs Philip Millward at Edge Hill Farm was as a result of ill health in the family and the excellent array of kit attracted purchasers from a very wide area.

The main implements and tractors were a credit to the vendors and had been carefully maintained with some items having been little used.

There was significant interest from both Wales and Ireland with regard to the Terex Telehandler which sold having undertaken 8,277 hours at £18,500 eventually being purchased by a Lancashire farmer.

The farms main work horse was the New Holland T5-105 4WD c/w power loader and bucket which sold on a 13’ plate having undertaken 4,100 hours and was purchased by a Nottinghamshire farmer for £33,000.

The Polaris Ranger having been registered 2015 with 1,020 hours achieved an excellent £10,600 and was purchased by a Uttoxeter farmer.
