An excellent start to the store sheep sale season considering the lack of keep and uncertainty over the Blue tongue situation.

Trade brisk from the very beginning to the very end with the first pen in the ring making £148 and the last pen making £141.

Short term lambs were in particular short supply which is no surprise given the weather conditions but these were certainly sought after types with possibly a little less interest in the longer term ones.

Buyers gathered from a wide geographical area with some going home empty or short of requirements and a large entry is certainly required for the next sale on Friday 28^th August for which we are still taking entries.
