The retirement dispersal on behalf of the Etches family at Wibbern Hill Farm after a family tenancy spanning 2 generations and 52 years attracted a very large crowd, with spirited bidding from start to finish
In the smaller lots

John Etches had recently run Zetor tractors as his main prime movers and with interest from the north of England together with Wiltshire, some sold locally with the other journeying around 160 miles south:

The Land Rover 90 Hard Top from the farm was a 79000 miles, 2012 plate, achieving £15900

A feature of the sale was definitely the hay which had all been produced in June 2026 and with 9 lots on offer the 4ft 6” barn stored bales achieved up to £40 each, with purchasers having to load all their own and do their own haulage on a tight time schedule.
And not forgetting the large stone trough which achieved a superb price of £2050.

All in all, an excellent day with 5 further sales booked before the end of the season
