443 Lambs, 148 Cull Sheep & 37 Store Lambs

A good show of 628 head of sheep included 443 lambs.  Demand very good throughout with a brisk trade for all types.  A proportion of grass fed types within the entry was reflected in the overall averages.  The best butchers lambs peaked at 374p/kg and overall average 338.9p/kg.

Cull Sheep

A mixed show of cull sheep saw rams very well bid for.  A large proportion of plain and horned ewes in the entry this week, but these were still in demand with grazing buyers present.

Store Sheep

A small show of 37 store lambs saw longer term Texel x to £118
