Bagshaws held their Land and Property Auction at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Wednesday 30th April 2025 with six lots entered into the auction, two going under the hammer and one lot sold prior. The lots ranged from pastureland parcels, to a building plot and a terraced house in Burton on Trent.
All buyers registered to bid in advance of the sale commencing. Contracts were made available to purchasers before the auction date, which meant any successful purchasers would be able to exchange contracts on the day, with the completion date being set 28 days thereafter.
The standout property offered for sale, Lot 6, comprised 4.27 acres off Woodhouses Road, Burntwood. It attracted interest and bids from a number of parties, eventually reaching its conclusion to sell for £162,000 (£37,939 per acre).
The remaining lots, Lot 3 Land at Blunts Hollow (Lot B), Lot 4 36a Heath Road and Lot 5 Buildings Plot at Pipehill, are now offered for sale by Private Treaty, with all enquires invited to contact the Ashbourne Office.
Lot 1 Land off Commonside, Gentleshaw, Rugeley will be entered into our next property auction at Bakewell, being held on Monday 19th May.
As always, this auction shows the benefit of the traditional auction system where the property is offered on the day and a signature on the contacts is achieved, with a completion 28 days thereafter.
