Twelve properties were offered under the hammer at the Agricultural Business Centre in our May auction. There were some remarkable results: 2.65 acres at Bamford sold for £60,000 (£22,641/ac); 2.92 acres off Blackwell Lane, Kirk Ireton realised £87,000 (£29,795/ac) with other lots of 12.77 acres, 12.31 acres and 2.32 acres at Kirk Ireton selling for £152,000, £150,000 and £44,000 respectively.
3.31 acres of pasture at Chelmorton sold for £70,000 (£21,148/ac) and 2.31 acres of land with a general-purpose agricultural building at Kirk Langley saw the hammer fall at £211,000.
