Property and Land Auctions
Uttoxeter Property Auction for Wednesday 23rd September 2020
This auction was held on Wednesday 23rd September.
Despite the ever changing COVID-19 situation, Bagshaws held their September Property Auction at the Stafford County Showground. Thanks to those who were in attendance for adhering to the Social Distancing and protection measures that were in place.
The sale was reduced by two lots as Heathy Grove Farm had been sold prior and the building plot at Fradley had to be withdrawn. However, of the lots offered, 100% were sold under the hammer.
Top House Farm at Prestwood, Ellastone realised £475,000 for the stone dwelling sitting in 2.6 acres. The land off Leigh Road at Bramshall received strong competition with 9.14 acres making £146,000 (£15,973/a) and 4.91 acres making £75,000 (£15,275/a).
We then moved back to Ellastone where 1.52 acres in the village made £62,000 (£40,789/a) after some spirited bidding. The final lot was 20.47 acres at Hollington which again received good interest, finishing at £218,000 (£10,650/a).
Auctioneer Malcolm Gale was pleased with the result and the efforts that all had made to comply with the current restrictions and the day yet again, proved the benefit of auction for the right property.
