Property and Land Auctions

This auction was held on Wednesday 20th November.

Malcolm Gale (Auctioneer) reported that the final Bagshaws Property and Land auction of 2019 was well attended at Uttoxeter Racecourse on 20th November.

It has been a successful year for Bagshaws auction department who continue to grow and enhance their reputation in the area as a truly professional and long established auction house with a wealth of experience.

Although smaller in lot numbers than the sales earlier in the year, a notable lot attracting much of the attention at this particular auction was Firs Farm in Snelston which was offered in in Three Lots. Lot 1 was a delightfully positioned Farmhouse with a number of outbuildings and land extending to approximately 34 acres. Bidding started strongly and soon reached the eventual sale price of £760,000. Lot 2 at Firs farm was pastureland extending to 16.46 which sold for £130,000. Lot 3 grassland extending to 2.32 acres promoting increased interest from a number of bidding parties and eventually selling at £44,000 far in excess of the £20,000 guide price.
