(Auctioneer Oliver Hiles)

Just over 100 cows again and very, very dear once again with a full line up of buyers all competing hard for the offering.  56 vendors today sold cows and all would be exceptionally happy with the results with the cows up 11 pence on the year.  46 cattle today topped £2/kilo with a super Lim x cow at the top of the pile at 251p (£2063) from Alex at Thorp Farms with 7 in total over 240p.  Whilst this level of trade continues, the only way to market your cows is to a full national audience of buyers in Bakewell Market.  If you are unsure about selling at Bakewell or have not done so for a while and would like to give it a try, give me a call on 07801 530899 and I would be happy to help.
