The market is still operating under strict ‘Drop & Go’ rules, but with trade at its current level vendors need have no concerns about prices.
Bakewell buyers want the opportunity to bid for your cattle so if you have stores in test and are minded to sell do not hesitate to speak to Alastair Sneddon on 07973 982441.

A decent entry of 344 included some which had failed to appear last week as a result of snow in certain areas.
There was plenty of buying power present or represented and an outstanding trade right through.
We Need Your Help
Please try to have your cattle delivered to Bakewell in good time, so that they can be sorted and numbered well before the sale starts.
There is a very good reason for doing this.
Buyers want a chance to view them before the sale starts, but because of the COVID-19 rule they also want to secure their places around the ring well before the sale commences.
It would assist our numbering team greatly and ensure the buyers can view your stock if the cattle could arrive in good time.
The sale commenced with a few Breeding Stock
