418 STORE & BREEDING CATTLE – (Auctioneers Alastair Sneddon & Meg Elliott)
A decent entry of 418 store & breeding cattle maintained if not exceeded recent levels of trade with all categories very dear indeed.
The breeding department comprised a single pedigree Limousin bull from DE & GM Storer of Macclesfield, the animal was 24 months old and attracted a great deal of interest with the hammer eventually falling at £4350 rather more than the vendor was expecting.
If you have breeding stock to sell, give us a call. There are clearly people wanting to buy.
17 Feeding Bulls
To include:

£1080 | Hfd x | 6 mnths | TG Adams & Son, Calwich |
£550 | AA x | 4 mnths | RP Lawley, Draycott |
213 Steers ave £1356
Rather small and young cattle in the entry, but regardless of that the overall average was still substantial.
Plenty topping the £2000 mark with strong Angus crosses in particular demand.
Yet again a remarkable list of results.
