629 Sheep including 335 Finished Hoggs, 120 Culls & 171 Store Sheep

 

335 Finished Hoggs ave 245.31p/kg.

Trade up on last week to a top of 318p/kg and £138 per head with well finished types commanding a significant premium.

120 Cull Sheep ave £80 per head

Another competitive trade with strong ewes to £142.

 

171 Store Sheep

An entry of 56 met a firm trade to £58 for generally small long-term types

 

The 111 in lamb ewes included a special entry of Welsh half bred ewes from John Moorcroft, Barmoor Clough  to a top of £114, with continental x ewes to £130.
