932 Sheep including 12 SPRING LAMBS, 601 Finished Hoggs, 211 EWES & RAMS

 & 101 Store Sheep

 

12 Spring Lambs ave 420p/kg

Top price 430p/kg from R Brough & Son, Monyash

 

601 Hoggs ave 261.22p/kg

A much more difficult trade as was reported the previous day with a number of abattoirs reported to have already filled their requirements in advance of the forthcoming festival.

A total of 211 cull sheep saw trade back due to the end of festival demand.

A very good show of ewes & lambs saw demand very brisk with plenty of bidders for all types.
