Another competitive trade throughout with all weights in keen demand with top prices of £188 per head and 382p/kg.  Overall average of £134.50 per head.

264 Cull Sheep ave £88.81 per head

A larger entry and a strong trade with continentals to £179, strong Mules in to the £120’s and stronger horned ewes up towards £90.

 

142 Store Sheep

A total of 142 store sheep attracted very brisk bidding in all sections.  The flock dispersal of 65 in lamb Mule and continental ewes from near Lichfield saw numerous local farmers trying to increase their lambing flock with some genuine replacements.  Young Texel ewes, scanned in lamb to £210, Char x ewes scanned in lamb to £176 and Mule ewes scanned in lamb to £170.

 

Feeding Hoggs

In the feeding hoggs demand still good even for the end of season types on offer with Shropshire x to £97, Texel x to £95 and Zwartble to £78.

59 Hoggs average £82.20
