406 SHEEP INCLUDING 6 spring lambs, 257 Finished hoggs, 78 Cull Sheep & 65 STORE SHEEP

257 Hoggs

 

Better well finished sorts still an excellent trade with heavier sorts to tops of £210 per head and 465p/kg but a number of smaller under finished types depressing the overall average.

 78 Cull Sheep Ave £120 Per Head

A sharper trade for all with strong Texels to £213.

 

65 Store Sheep

Just a small show of store sheep included 39 Ewes and Lambs with plenty of bidders for all types.  A run of 2 Zwartble Ewes with strong Texel x Lambs suitable to turn straight out attracted the most interest with doubles to £235 and £220 and singles to £200.

Mule Ewe with young singles to £150.

 

Feeding Hoggs
