& 346 STORE SHEEP

 

 

346 Store Sheep

An excellent entry of ewe & lamb couples totalling 129 ewes with 217 lambs averaged a credible £83.74 per life, with singles to a top of £235 and twins to £338.

A packed alleyway of potential purchasers ensured a strong trade for all types with a sample of prices shown below.

Many more could have been sold with a total clearance easily achieved and large entries are required for the coming weeks.

Stronger well finished types still a respectable trade with tops of 370p/kg and £204 per head, but a number of plainer sorts reflected in the average.

A small entry of Spring lambs topped at 410p/kg from P Yates, Champion Farm.
