Trade a little easier than last week but still well up on the same time last year with all weights in strong demand.  Top prices of 362p/kg and £193/head.

A strong trade on all with strong sorts to a top of £215.

 

Store Lambs

An excellent trade to a top of £120, with plenty of people looking.

 

IN LAMB EWES

The special sale of in lamb ewes attracted great interest with buyers from Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.  A run of 260 Texel x all off one farm were the main consignment which saw Texel shearlings scanned in lamb to £272 and ewes to £270 to average £235.  Draft Mule ewes scanned in lamb sold to £235 to average £218.
