A smaller entry of 472 sheep included 51 Spring Lambs.  The best fleshed butchers types well bid for to peak at 405p/kg (£190/head) with the heavy weights averaging 358.89p/kg

Leading Prices:

In the cull ewes a total of 143 on offer saw brisk bidding with best Texels up to £225 twice with overall average £122.80.  Cull rams to £185 ave £125.55.

In the store sheep plenty of buyers still operating despite the dry conditions.
