1013 Sheep including 560 Finished Hoggs, 153 Cull Sheep and 312 Store Sheep

 

560 Finished Hoggs Ave 265.49p/kg

Handy weights a similar trade, but heavy weights harder to sell and following the National trend seen throughout the week.

Top price of £150 per head.

Another strong trade for all with both ewes and rams to £150

 

324 Store Sheep

 

An excellent entry of 324 Store Sheep included 61 Hoggs, demand very brisk with best Texel x to £94 head.

A special sale of breeding sheep with 263 on offer.  The sale started with 4 Lleyn ewes with Texel x lambs at foot which sold at £192/family.  The sale followed on with 3 consignments of in lamb ewes and attracted very keen bidding from both local and distance buyers.
