648 Sheep including 24 Finished Lambs, 162 Finished Hoggs, 193 Cull Sheep and 269 Store Sheep

 

24 Finished Lambs ave 347.13p/kg

An improved trade on the week with additional purchasers present and a top price of 355p/kg.

41.0kg 350p/kg DF & A Wainwright, Cold Eaton
38.0kg 340p/kg MW Mottershaw, North Wingfield

 

162 Hoggs ave 246.67p/kg

Trade again stronger for all types to a top of 290p/kg and £132 per head.

 

193 Cull Sheep

An excellent trade for all types with a number of horned and Mule ewes within the entry.  Top priced continental ewes at £180.

 

269 Store & Breeding Sheep

Another excellent entry of ewes with lambs at foot and trade even dearer than last week with additional buying support present, keep the numbers coming.
