Trade very similar to last week for a reduced entry with numbers continuing to dry up.
Bigger weights easier in line with the National trend with well finished handy weights in strongest demand.

The entry of 227 in lamb ewes from Robert Rowlinson, Ilam created significant interest with a large gathering of prospective purchasers and selling well with Mules to £245 and Texels to £225.
In addition, the store hoggs were well bid for to a top of £88 (ave £82) and the first ewes with lambs at foot of the season with singles to £210 and twins to £250.
