Bagshaws Auctioneers report an outstanding turnout of prospective buyers for the catalogued sale of 540 lots of Rural & Domestic Bygones from a local collector. Several buyers had travelled quite a distance with some even coming the previous night and staying in their campervan ready for the doors opening for viewing at 7am. Buyers came from Scotland, Cumbria, County Durham, Norfolk, London and the Welsh borders as well as all the neighbouring counties.

As a result, very brisk bidding throughout the sale with 540 lots taking just over 4 hours to sell.

Several lots had local interest and brisk bidding resulting.
