An excellent trade to finish the season with an overall average returned at £74 per head. All types in very keen demand with a total clearance being easily achieved.
Purchasers gathered from a wide geographic area with stronger sorts regularly upwards of £80 to a top of £93.

In the breeding sheep section was the entire lambing flock of Aberfield and Lleyn ewes from Hough Park. The ewes being all scanned in lamb for February and March. These attracted a great deal of interest from near and far. The shearling ewes scanned in lamb to Highlander rams started the section in style with the top price of £200/head being achieved twice with an average of £168. The rest of the ewes were all scanned to the Aberfield Rams saw 2 shear ewes to £185 (twice) to average £163. 3 shear ewes to £180 (twice) to average £163, 4/5 shear to £165 (twice0 to average £144. The older ewes were all Lleyn bred scanned in lamb to the Aberfield and sold to £155 to average £142.
