An excellent days trading with both numbers and trade both well up last year selling to a packed ringside of buyers from start to finish.
A total entry of 2,306 head and the sale starting at 10am with the ewe lambs selling to a top of £400 averaging £165.
These were followed by the shearling ewes topping at £440 to average £235 and then the older ewes which topped at £340 to average £151.
Following on were the rams and these preceded by a show, kindly judged by Joe Mitchell with the results below.
Trade was brisk throughout to a top at £1,400 and the shearlings averaging £457.
