Trade for the commercial entry was sharp with a second calver from Phillip and Marilyn Critchlow topping at £2500 with another second calver from the same home reaching £2340 both heading to John Bayley of Nuneaton.

A solid trade for the herd dispersal saw a top price of £2140 for a fresh third calver by Goonhill Gabriel with numerous others in the £1800 – £2000 mark.

Entries are coming thick and fast for next weeks Pedigree Sale with towards 70 milkers entered together with a group of calves from the Meadowfold Herd of Messrs Poyser and 3 Pedigree Simmental Stock Bulls from two homes.
