INKERSALL HERD DISPERSAL TO 3000gns

21 OVER 2000gns

There was huge support for the Inkersall Dispersal at Leek Dairy Centre on Thursday with cows being an excellent trade from start to finish. Topping at £3000, 21 past the £2000 mark with the milkers averaging a superb £1840 (without calves).

A tremendous heifer Inkersall Dairymaid 45 by Denovo Julep reached 3000gns. Calved in July she had recently classified 85 points and was sold giving 41kg. She went to Messrs Hulme of Basford.

Hot in pursuit was another Julep daughter, Inkersall Nannette 97. Fresh in August she boasted an EX90 dam and was clinched by Messrs Swindells of Chelmorton.

The Pel Eva family was very much admired and a heifer by K & L Rambler reached £2800 also to Messrs Hulme.

At the same money was the highly impressive cow Inkersall Iloa Rolls 120 EX91, one of the many Rolls in the sale. She boasted 8 generations VG/EX. Calved in June and just served to Sassafras she went to Messrs Swindell.

The stylish stock bull also from the Rolls family drew great interest. By Villy Silvio, the hammer eventually fell at £3350 to Messrs Seals of Shirland.

Every life including 35 heifer calves averaged £1338.
