Dadlington Sale Sees Over 400 Lots with the Majority Non-Vat“-Mark Elliott

The sale on behalf of the Mayne Family at Dadlington saw towards 500 lots numbered with the majority of the items non-vat and a large range of extra lots from sundry vendors attracting a very good crowd.

In the Smaller Lots:

The farm had de-registered for vat with the implements sold having been used on the farm.

There was a lot of pre-sale interest in the Wolvo 500 Series Mini Round Baler and Wrapper with the Baler achieving £2,900 and the Mounted Wrapper at £800.

The Ifor William TA510G Trailer achieved £2,300 with tractors as follows:

  • Case 1490 2WD (Transmission Fault and No Diesel Tank) £2,600

The telehandler on the farm was a Merlo P26.6LPT Telehandler and had been purchased as a demonstrator and used on the unit showing 5,680 Hours this achieved £15,000 to a Derbyshire Dairy Farmer.
