The retirement dispersal on behalf of John and Grace Gadsby at Flatts Farm, Darley Bridge near Matlock saw a pristine range of Ford and New Holland tractors together with a Manitou Telehandler and grassland equipment for genuine dispersal at the end of September. With interest from throughout the UK and Ireland there was pressure on the car park team as the potential purchases arrived in their masses.
Trade was extremely good from start to finish, including all the smaller items, livestock equipment and thereafter onto the larger kit.
In the Smaller Lots:

The larger kit had been kept in excellent order and was an absolute credit to the vendors. At times bidding was fierce, including up to 4 telephone bidders being represented with prices as follows:

The McHale equipment had been supplied locally and was in very, very good order with the 2014 McHale C460 Trailed Straw Chopper at £9100 and the McHale Fusion 3 Combi Round Baler Wrapper unit having undertaken less than 6000 bales achieving a massive £50,500.
In the Trailers and Tankers:

The line up of tractors was impressive with the first tractor being a personal item of John’s at the farm and sold free of VAT: The Ford 4100 (1970’s model, complete with bubble cab and power steering) achieved a massive £5700.
With national interest in all the New Holland models, bidding was fierce with the first New Holland – the TS115 4WD 9300 hours, V-Plate at £22,200. The next was the New Holland TL100A 2WD 2007, 5100 hours at £19,000.
The two prime movers were the New Holland T6050 Plus 4WD, 2010, 3900 hours at a sizable £33,400 and the final tractor, which John had recently used to pull his combi baler, a New Holland T6.155 4WD, 2012, 3300 hours at a massive £39,800.
The final large item from the family was the Manitou MLTt35PS Elite Telehandler, 2014, 4100 hours at £30,400.
