“John Deere’s and Same’s Ring the Bell at Bagshaws Dispersal”-Mark Elliott

The dispersal on behalf of Mr Ian Renshaw at Foston Hall Farm, Foston, Nr Leicester saw a very diverse range of machinery for genuine dispersal with some excellent kit from John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Same, Kverneland and other major marks.

With both European, Scottish and Irish interest as well as all areas of England there was excellent bidding from start to finish with several classic tractors sold at very high levels.

The pair of Same tractors had both been own from new on the holding and attracted wide interest particularly from the Scottish borders and Islands.

The Same Silver 100.6 on a 03’ Plate with only 4,900 genuine hours from new achieved an excellent £17,800 with the Same Titan 160 (1998 only 4,085 hours) at a superb £20,600.

There was an excellent Massey Ferguson 6475 Dyna 6 on 57’ Plate with 4,114 hours which achieved £36,400 to a Lincolnshire farmer.

Undoubtedly the star of the show was the farms John Deere 7530 Premium 4WD which was purchased new in 2010 with a 50KPH gearbox and full premium spec. It had undertaken only 3,461 hours on sale day and purchased by a Staffordshire farmer for a £80,000. The John Deere stable mate was a 6195R 4WD purchased new in 2016 having undertaken only 1,967 hours and was sold with a 6000 series John Deere Dome and achieved £80,000.

Harvesting operations had been undertaken by John Deere S770i Standard Combine which was purchased new in 2018 and having done little work was purchased to go to the Southeast at £114,000.

One of the rarer items in the sale was a little used Deutz Agrovector 37-7 Telehandler which was purchased in 2016 and had undertaken only grain loading and fertiliser unloading operations. It was sold on sale day having undertaken 503 hours and achieved an excellent £38,000.
