“Wide support and excellent trade at Loughborough Dispersal”

The Bagshaws team were out again at Loughborough in Leicestershire with the genuine dispersal sale on behalf of the personal representatives of the Late Sydney Armett whos machinery had been extremely well maintained with several of the newer lots in pristine order.

The stars of the day were undoubtedly the tractors and telehandler but Mr Armett’s superb Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4WD pickup with only 6,000 miles on the clock attracted interest from a wide area.

In the smaller lots;

There were many varied lots in the field with;

  • Scatterbird Gas Fired Bird Scarer Units up to £70 each
  • Galvanised gates up to £95 each
  • Cattle Ring Feeders up to £60 each
  • IAE Galvanised Calf Crush achieved £380
  • Bateman Galvanised Cattle Crush at £1,000

 1980’s/90’s tractor sundries are much sought after with;

  • 8x-International 784 Series Front Weights at £210
  • Old Quicke Pallet Tines at £260
  • 3x-Fordson Wafer Weights £150

The Late Mr Armett’s machines were in very good order some having undertaken very little work the McConnel Powerarm 5455 Flail Hedgecutter was purchased by a local farmer at £10,800 with the Vicon Fanex 683 6 Rotor Mounted Tedder again going to a local farmer at £3,550. The KRM Mounted 4.8metre Tine Drill achieved £6,000 with a very smart set of NRH Hydraulic Folding Combi Ring Rolls at £6,750.

The COP Engineering Twin Axle Bale Trailer made an excellent £3,200 with AS Marston 10 Ton Grain/Silage Trailers up to £3,800 each.

The master T12 Mobile Dryer together with NC 14 Ton Grain Trailer were in superb order with the Grain Trailer achieving £11,200 and the mobile dryer going to a farmer in County Durham at £16,800.

Tractors sold well with wide interest from both surrounding farms and well into Wales and Northern Island. The Case CS94 4WD (52 Plate) £16,000, Case IH Maxxum MX120 (04 Plate) £25,800, Case IH Maxxum 110 (12 Plate)-low Hours £37,600, Case Puma 180 (58 Plate)-low hours £41,000. The superb Manitou MLT 735-120 LSU Telehandler on a 12 Plate with low hours sold with pallet tines on at £36,000 and with the addition of eight attachments achieved a combined price of an excellent £44,000.

As detailed above the Late Mr Armett’s Ford Ranger Truck attracted significant interest from a wide area and was sold locally for £27,000+VAT with the Honda Foreman TRX 500-FE Quad Bike on a 13 Plate at a superb £4,520.
