A larger gathering of over 20 prospective purchasers ensured an increase in the trade for all types to a top price of £101.

A number of purchasers going home short of requirements and as such a decent entry is required for the next sale on Friday 9th December in 3 weeks time for which we already have a number of entries to hand.

Within the sale of lambs, a charity pen with the lambs donated by various vendors saw £600 raised to keep the Air Ambulance flying.

Just 90 Store & Breeding sheep finished the day off well with brisk bidding for all stock.  Several farmers still short of rams saw Texel x shearling rams to £320 to average £255, Suffolk shearlings to £300 ave £260 and BFL x rams to £390.

Breeding ewes saw Suffolk x to £100 and Mules to £100 and £108.
