Another successful auction at the Agricultural Business Centre in Bakewell marked a strong continuation to the 2025 property calendar. Monday 19th May saw a diverse range of lots go under the hammer, drawing a competitive crowd of bidders, both in person and online. The day resulted in over £1.8 million worth of property sales, reflecting the ongoing demand for land and rural properties in the region.

 

Auction Highlights:

• Competitive bidding led to standout results, including Lot D – Land off Oakerthorpe Road, Wirksworth Moor, which sold for £330,000.
• Lot A Bowling Green Farm also achieved a strong price at £470,000.

 

Other notable sales included:

• • Land off Hope Road, Edale – £156,000
  • Land off Ashopton Road, Bamford – £150,000
  • Detached Barn and Buildings for Conversion, Wadshelf – £250,000
  • Land off Windmill Lane, Apperknowle – £51,000

 

Results Summary:

• Several lots sold prior to the auction, including Lot B Bowling Green Farm and Land off Common Side, Rugeley.
• Some lots found success after the auction, such as Lot B Land off Moor Lane, Elton Moor.
• A few properties did not sell on the day, including:
  • Land off Hyde Lane, Hartington
  • Land at Fenny Bentley Lots A & B
  • Millers Green Farm, Wirksworth
