The second in the series of Orange Sales at Bakewell Market drew a larger entry of 151 Store & Feeding Cattle. All cattle have to go from the sale to an AFU (Approved Finishing Unit) or direct to slaughter.
This sale is hopefully established as a monthly fixture and anyone under TB restriction if they have cattle to sell should look at the next sale on 18th June as a possible outlet for their cattle.
Trade today was superb with the cattle a joy to sell with numerous potential purchasers
competing for the quality on offer and prices equal to that of a regular Monday Market
