A catalogued entry of 5,030 store lambs together with a number of late entries attracted a large attendance of purchasers from both near and far, with sheep heading to Norfolk, South Wales and Southern England with a total clearance being achieved.
In excess of 22 purchasers around the ring and returning an overall average of £73 per head and selling to a top of £95.
The next sale is on Friday 7th October for which entries are still being taken.
