Livestock & Dairy: Bakewell Market
Bakewell Market Store Sheep Friday 21st November
With 3,112 store lambs and a number of late entries, they drew a large gathering of prospective purchasers from both far and near despite certain customers unable to attend due to snowy weather conditions.
The average at just over £114 per head would be a little back on last fortnight but there were a number of smaller sorts in the entry with a top price of £146.
The next sale is in 3 weeks on Friday 12th December, for which we are still taking entries.
