With 3,118 sheep entered trade was brisk from the outset with the average up some £30 on last years sale, selling to a packed ring with 70 individual purchasers sheep.
All breeds in keen demand with Texels to £230 and Mules to £205.
The sale was preceded by the usual show of shearling Texels and Mules, kindly judged by Messrs Hill & Wright, Doncaster.
