With 3,042 sheep catalogued there was a good crowd around the ring and a brisk trade for top quality sheep.
Lesser types found their level at an appropriate price. Averages very similar to the sale on 2nd September where overall quality was better, indicating a stronger trade today.
Texel crosses were without doubt the most popular on the day with 8 pens topping the £200 mark. Mules topped at £195 and Suffolk crosses £175.
