Peter is a professional auctioneer with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Based in Bakewell, he plays a key role in the weekly sheep sales, the autumn breeding sheep and store lamb sales, as well as the larger store cattle sales at Bakewell Market.

In addition to his auctioneering duties, Peter is regularly involved in farm dispersal sales and covers a wide geographical area. As part of the refreshed leadership structure at Bakewell Market, Peter has taken on the role of Market Operations Manager, where he is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of market operations, coordinating contractors, and upholding high standards of Health & Safety.
