Vacancy in our Leek Office –Deputy Lettings Manager

Due to the recent acquisition of Bury and Hilton into the Bagshaws Partnership we are expanding our busy rentals team at our Leek office and are looking to recruit a Deputy Lettings Manager. This is a full time role working five days per week 9am – 5.30pm with an unpaid hour for lunch.

This is a challenging and exciting role where a committed and a flexible work ethic is essential. Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in working in the rentals market to include referencing of tenants, preparing tenancy agreements, liaising with contractors to manage properties effectively and liaising with landlords/tenants.

To fulfil this role you should have an ARLA qualification or significant rentals experience with a willingness to undertake a qualification. The candidate should also have Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, accompanied by good IT skills. Experience of using a lettings management software package would also be advantageous.

You should be an excellent communicator (telephone, letter and email) with good listening skills. We are looking for someone who can follow policy and procedure with excellent attention to detail and who is used to working to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be a friendly and outgoing member of staff who can build up excellent working relationships with both landlords and tenants alike.

Estate Agency Administrator/Sales Negotiator – Penkridge

We are looking to recruit an Estate Agency Administrator/sale negotiator. We are ideally looking for our successful candidate to work five days per week 9am – 5.30pm but flexibility within these hours will be considered.

This is a challenging and exciting role where a committed and flexible work ethic is essential. Our ideal candidate will have experience of the process of selling property; from initial appraisal through to completion of the sale. They will be a well organised individual and will be involved in effective marketing and advertising of property. We are looking for a friendly and outgoing member of staff who can build up excellent working relationships with both buyers and sellers alike along with other linked professionals. We would also like the successful candidate to provide administration support to other professionals within the office and so the ability to audio-type would be advantageous.

You will be an articulate communicator with good attention to detail. We are looking for a candidate who has Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, accompanied by good IT skills. You will be able to multi-task and prioritise your workload effectively whilst producing work to a high standard. Knowledge of the local area of Penkridge and the surrounding area would be appreciated.

Vacancy for a RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor

• As Chartered Surveyors, we advise on a wide range of land and property related matters including valuations, compensation claims, occupation agreements, planning and development issues.

• We continue to be one of the largest livestock and property auctioneers in the Midlands, with livestock markets in Bakewell and Leek.

• Our team of Estate Agents are responsible for a wide portfolio of both town and country properties.

We are looking to recruit a full time RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor  with experience in general professional work, planning matters and agency. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant post qualification experience. This experience should include, but not be limited to; the valuation of all property types (residential, rural, equestrian, agricultural), confident in the management of rural property, an up to date working knowledge of the planning system and agency work.

You will be friendly, outgoing and a good communicator. Whilst being a member of a team, you will be used to working as an independent fee earner. Applications are welcomed from both RICS qualified surveyors and candidates with a background in town planning and RTPI qualifications.
